It is important to note that the company only recognizes quality through the eyes of the consumers who are the sole judges regarding this matter. Starting from this concept, Teletrade Computer Systems decided to acquire the ISO certification that requires for any company to structure its work in a manner that only reflects quality, time management, organization, and customer care. This whole change done in order to adhere to the 9001: 2000 ISO standards is aiming at one general objective: acknowledging the quality aspect in work that will automatically boom customer satisfaction and thereafter take the company’s image to a new level of professionalism. One thing that is important to note here is that management was not seeking the certification as an end by itself, but rather as a means in order to better serve customers. Management has showed a great commitment to the whole quality issue that the quality concepts have been very well disseminated to employees who now consider the new operating procedures as a “must” rather than a “have to”. In fact, the writing of every procedure was done in coordination with a quality team consisting of one representative or more from each department. That way more prosperous ideas were shared and little “resistance to change” was demonstrated by the employees, since they themselves had a part in creating this better work body. Finally, the accreditation was officially attributed to Teletrade Computer Systems on Marsh 2005, after a thorough “audit” conducted by the well known Canadian firm QMI, and it is now being fully implemented. Therefore one promise can be made: TCS will serve better satisfied customer throughout the coming years, and will keep searching for increasing that rate thereafter. One of the outcomes of the ISO certification was the birth of a quality policy that is now the foundation for every effort that is put in the daily workflow process, and is totally comprehended by every employee who considers it as “the way business is done at Teletrade Computer Systems”. The policy stipulates the following principles: (quality policy)
