Teletrade Computer Systems (TCS) was established in September 14th, 1993 with the intent of becoming a major player in the Lebanese IT industry. With a budget of no more than $30,000, a staff of 3 employees, and a harshly competitive environment, the road to success began. In its first business decade, TCS made a huge step towards achieving its objectives and aggressively positioned itself among the key players in the corporate and small to medium business segment. With the same determination, the second decade started with the will to expand towards developing enterprise solutions and a sister company, “Evolution Technologies”, started its own success story, August 2002. Furthermore an expansion towards developing retailing solutions for the consumer market was found necessary later on, and for that end, “Multimedia Megastore” was founded in 2003, along with a second branch in ABC Dbayeh in 2005. Both companies benefited from TCS’s structure and reputation to boom in a relatively short period. Today TCS is a team of around 70 highly qualified employees: technicians, salesmen, administrators, coordinators, consultants, and managers, all sharing the same vision and goals. What is the edge that enabled TCS to survive and support two sister companies throughout all these years? Customer Satisfaction is the answer.
In today’s competitive and dynamic environment, Teletrade Computer Systems chose “Service” to be its differentiating strength, and built on it to sustain it as its competitive advantage. The strategy worked well and turned out to generate loyal business relationships resulting in a customer base exceeding 8000 clients, 75% of which are corporations and medium businesses, and 25% SOHO. Through the focus on customer care and satisfaction, the company boosted a very strong image in the market and gained an important market share distinguishing itself with a personalized service based on tailoring solutions according to each consumer’s needs. The company’s success attracted many sponsors, and many international partnerships were established. Moreover, many prestigious international and local awards were presented to Teletrade Computer Systems in recognition for the success of its business strategies, thus reinforcing the company’s image as a major player in the Lebanese market even more. Finally, Teletrade has been certified to ISO 9001:2000 since April 2005, and its management system is semi-annually audited by QMI's expert auditors, to make sure that the system is still working and to identify any opportunities for improvement. The latter certification has added so much value to the organization whose structure is now perfectly supporting the vision that is "customer Satisfaction", which will always be at the core of any future development strategies.
